Las Vegas Super Bowl 2021 Weekend

The Big Game won’t be quite so Big in Las Vegas this year.  It's going to be a little different this year but Las Vegas is still the Best place to watch the Super Bowl.   The giant screens and the electricity of the environment translate to an experience like no other.
Super Bowl Sunday, historically is one of the busiest weekends in Las Vegas, Super Bowl 2021 will fall short of the typical visitation and spending numbers.
The Nevada sportsbooks did set all-time records for football betting, or amount wagered, in 2020 with more large bets than usual.   But several Las Vegas oddsmakers don’t expect Super Bowl 2021 to break any state records for the game between the Chiefs and Buccaneers. I think the record setting betting will continue with a much smaller crowd resulting in less overall revenue but more betting revenue.
“It’s going to be a lot different than the last 20 years,” said Derek Stevens, owner of downtown’s newest property, Circa. I think everyone’s trying to make adjustments as much as possible. … We’ll have a lot of 50-person events in various ballrooms, lot of smaller group events.”
The 2019 Super Bowl brought roughly 310,000 visitors to Las Vegas and had an estimated economic impact of $425 million.

Nevada set records for Super Bowl betting in three straight years from 2016 to 2018, topping out at $158.6 million in wagers on Philadelphia’s 41-33 upset of New England.
Betting last year was $154.7 million , when Kansas City beat San Francisco 31-20. The betting on Super Bowl 2020 set an all time Win Record for the Sportsbooks of $18.8 million.
The 2021 Super Bowl COVID-19, is expected to reduce the amount of visitors to Las Vegas for Super Bowl LV and casino floors are still operating under a 25 percent occupancy cap which will restrict the number of people at casino parties and visitors.
