Resort World will offer 3 distinct hotel choices. The Hilton being the primary brand. Each will have their own entrance, lobby and selection of rooms and suites. Hilton Las Vegas @ Resort World will offer 1,774 full-service luxury rooms and suites. Ranging in size from 400 sq. ft. to 3,300 sq. ft. Conrad Las Vegas @ Resort World will offer 1,496 luxury rooms and suites. Ranging in size from 550 to 2,800 sq. ft. Crockfords Las Vegas LXR Hotels & Resorts @ Resort World will feature a collection of 236 ultra luxury rooms and suites. Ranging in size from 550 to 7,000 sq. ft.
This project started with the implosion of the Stardust by the Boyd Group in March of 2007. The Stardust was a 32-story, 11,500 room resort. The Boyd Group was originally going to build a resort called the Echelon Resort. The slowdown in the economy resulted in the Boyd Group selling the Echelon infrastructure and the 87 acres it was on to the Malaysia -based Genting Group for $350 million in March of 2013.
The groundbreaking for Resort World Las Vegas was conducted in May 2015. Resort World Las Vegas is a $4.3 billion, 2,500 room resort. In addition to to the 11,500 rooms Resort World will provide 40 food outlets, 70,000 sq ft of retail, and a 117,000 sq ft casino floor for guests. Resort World Las Vegas is a true Destination Resort.
