Guests can experience the Vortex Tunnel, Head on a Platter and Infinity Room with the museum’s exhibits and candy. The 31st season features three experiences (Castle Vampyre, Coven of 13 and the R-rated Gates of Hell), fortune tellers, food trucks and more, starting at 7 p.m. Oct. 15-31 at Desert Breeze Park, 8275 Spring Mountain Road. HALLOWEEN EXPRESS
The Friends of the Nevada Southern Railway fundraiser features a 30-minute train ride with onboard activities, followed by a Monster Mash dance party with a DJ, fog machine, kid-friendly refreshments, games and a costume contest. The event will be offered at 6 and 7 p.m. Oct. 18 and Oct. 25, and at 5 and 6 p.m. Oct. 19 and Oct. 26 at Nevada State Railroad Museum, 601 Yucca St., Boulder City. Advance tickets are $25 for children and $35 for adults (tickets will be available at the museum while supplies last).
HALLOWEEN TOWN PUMPKIN PATCH
Open daily through Oct. 31 and featuring rides, games, activities and more, starting at 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Boca Park location at 510 S. Rampart Blvd. is designed for ages 2-10. The southwest location at 7455 S. Rainbow Blvd. for teens and young adults, does include rides for all ages. The Silverado Ranch location at 71 E. Silverado Ranch features rides, games and attractions for all ages.

The OPPORTUNITY VILLAGE fundraiser features the Forest Express Passenger Train, Cheyenne’s Enchanted Carousel, midway games, mini golf, trick-or-treat stations and more, starting at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 18-31 at 6300 W. Oakey Blvd. Tickets start at $20, ages 3 and younger are free.

The Art and Entertainment complex has plenty of Tricks and Treats in store for the weekend. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a Halloween tradition, and The Portal is presenting an immersive viewing experience of the cult classic on Oct. 27 and Oct. 31. The production is complete with a shadow cast and prop kits available for purchase — start practicing those “Time Warp” moves! Additionally, scAREA15 takes place on Oct. 28, inviting ravers and cosplayers to take in hypnotic DJ sets, ominous art installations, photo ops and more. The complex is also home to several spooky attractions including Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart where consumerism and creepy collide.
