LAS VEGAS TRANSPORTATION CHANGING

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is in discussions to acquire the Las Vegas Monorail Co.

The LVCVA board of directors announced the organization is exploring options to acquire the four-mile transit system that currently isn’t operating because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition Elon Musk’s Boring Company dba/ Vegas Loop , is developing a revolutionary underground transportation system which will serve the entire 200-acre Las Vegas Convention Center campus.

This underground transportation system will allow  convention attendees to be whisked across the campus in just over one minute, free of charge, in all-electric Tesla vehicles.
The Vegas Loop, servicing to LVCC,  is scheduled to be completed in conjunction with the Las Vegas Convention Center Expansion. Due for completion early 2021.

The Vegas Loop has bigger goals in mind and will someday connect McCarran International Airport to Fremont St with a variety of stops in between.
The Vegas Loop and the Convention Center purchase of the Monorail will change the way Locals and Guests alike travel around Las Vegas. This will eliminate traffic congestion and create a cleaner environment.
