The Raider Nation invaded Allegiant Stadium
September 13, 2021, was a memorable Opening for football fans at Allegiant Stadium home to the Las Vega Raiders. This was the first time the Raider Nation was allowed to watch a Raider game at Allegiant Stadium. It was also a first for Mark Davis the team owner.
The Raiders put on quite a show on this historic night for the 65,000 in attendance winning 33 to 27 over the Baltimore Ravens.
The Raiders led by Derek Carr came back repeatedly to answer every Ravens score. Even some questionable officiating couldn’t slow the Raider Offense. The Defense was there when it counted. Trying to contain a quarterback like Lamar Jackson can test any Defense. As the game progressed though the Defense seemed to improve.
What might be a bigger story for this Monday Night is the Raider Nation participation. The Raiders are among a handful of NFL Teams with strict COVID Guidelines. At all Raider home games attendees ages 12 and over must provide proof of vaccination to enter. Fully vaccinated individuals will NOT be required to wear a face mask while inside the stadium. Vaccinations are available on site.
COVID restrictions obviously had no impact on the 65,000 fans inside Allegiant Stadium for this historic Night. and what a Night it was Las Vegas Raiders 33 / Baltimore Ravens 27….
