This Beautiful Home is a Bargain
FOR SALE for $6.5 million

Las Vegas couple built this realistic, charming Italian Street in THE Backyard. Take a Peek.
The owners of this Las Vegas home love Italy and its culture so much that they built a complete replica of a charming Italian street — cobblestones, fountain, cafe tables and more – in their backyard.

Bringing Italian Las Vegas St
They call the street “Via Di Pietra,” using the Italian word for stone. The design pays homage to Italy — and to the couple’s children, according to Douglas Elliman Real Estate, which holds the listing.

The faux restaurant with a table outside? That’s Ristorante Jaredino, named after their son Jared. The restaurant’s sliding glass doors actually open to an entertainment basement. The chocolate shop across from the restaurant? It’s named Allison Cioccolato after the Stones’ daughter. And Chez Andre? Named after their son Andy, it is a wine and cheese shop, where behind the window sit empty wine bottles the Stones have collected and finished over the years. The stores’ street numbers correspond to the children’s birthdays.

The owners, Lara and David Stones, may not be Italian, but Lara told the Wall Street Journal that they have visited Italy several times and “loved everything about it.” They put the streetscape into the plans when they were building their 9,771-square-foot house over a decade ago, the newspaper reported.
THE RESIDENCE AT 15 BRIGHT HOLLOW COURT, LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, JUST HIT THE MARKET FOR $6.5 MILLION. There are six bedrooms and four bathrooms on the nearly half-acre lot.
The interior takes on a European-style design, as well. Soaring ceilings, mahogany wood floors and pocket doors are found throughout the home, which was built in 2011. A custom chef’s kitchen incorporates top-tier appliances, including a Miele expresso machine, and a center island. The living room comes with a fireplace while the family room opens onto a gorgeous veranda.
The primary suite is on the second level, with a gym, private balcony with a fire pit and expansive views of surrounding mountains and preserve. The other bedrooms all have in-suite bathrooms.
Outside, there’s an outdoor kitchen, pool and spa and a basketball court. A private elevator goes down to the basement, where a sumptuous home theater and game room await, along with the 600-bottle temperature-controlled wine room.
And from there, guests can escape to Italy.
The replica street was built in a part of the home where there was only an empty alleyway that the Stones didn’t want to leave blank.
